Access to the ChasingLife website:

Making a donation or online purchase:
You can donate to ChasingLife or make a purchase from the ChasingLife shop via the website.
In order to donate or make a purchase, you will be directed to a secure payment gateway.
Your donation / purchase details, personal details and credit card details for payment will be collected and used in accordance with ChasingLife’s Privacy Policy
Regular Giving through a Direct Debit Pledge Request
If you agree to a Direct Debit Pledge the following Terms apply:
- Drawing arrangements:
- We will advise you, in writing, the details of our Direct Debit pledge drawing arrangements [amount; frequency; commencement date] at least 7 days prior to the first drawing.
- Where the due date falls on a non business day, we will draw the amount on the next business day. We will not change the amount of frequency of drawing arrangements without your prior approval.
- We reserve the right to cancel the Direct Debit Pledge drawing arrangements if three of more drawings are returned unpaid by your nominated Financial Institution and to arrange with you an alternate payment method.
- We will keep all information pertaining to your nominated account at the Financial Institution, private and confidential.
- Your rights:
- You may terminate the Direct Debit Pledge drawing arrangements at any time by giving written notice to us. Such notice should be received by us at least 14 days prior to the next due date.
- You may request change to the drawing amount and/or frequency of the Direct Debit pledge by contacting us and advising your requirements no less than 14 days prior to the next due date.
- Where you consider that a drawing has been initiated incorrectly [outside the Direct Debit Pledge arrangements] you may take the matter up directly with us or your nominated financial institution.
- Your responsibilities:
- It is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are available in the nominated account to meet a drawing on its due date.
- It is your responsibility to pay any fees associated with your Direct Debit or any costs if the Direct Debit is not honoured.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the authorisation given to draw on the nominated account is identical to the account signing instructions held by the Financial Institution where the account is based.
- It is your responsibility to advise us if the account nominated by you to receive the Direct Debit Pledge drawings is transferred or closed.
- The cost of delivery of ChasingLife products or merchandise purchased by you will be calculated at the time the product is ordered, and will be incorporated into the final price of the product.
- All prices quoted on the ChasingLife website are in Australian Dollars.
In order for ChasingLife to deliver to you a tax receipt for products that you have ordered, you will need to provide ChasingLife with your postal address. ChasingLife will not provide you with a tax receipt recognising your donation, products or merchandise you have ordered until payment has been processed and actually received by ChasingLife.
Refund Policy:
ChasingLife Pty Ltd cannot provide refunds for change of mind regarding your donation. If a donation is refunded, the associated tax receipt issued is no longer valid.
ChasingLife will refund a donation if:
- there was an error made by ChasingLife or one of our staff
- a wrong donation amount was entered
- there was a system error
No warranties or representations:
The ChasingLife website is made available “as is”. As such, we do not give any warranties or make any representation in relation to any part of the ChasingLife website. In particular, we do not warrant or represent that the ChasingLife website is free from defects, or that it will be available at any time for your install, download, link to or use, or that it will be compatible with other applications, programs, hardware or services (such as your mobile device, or your PC).
We also expressly exclude from these Terms (to the extent permitted by law) all warranties or conditions which may otherwise be implied by law, custom or conduct (Implied Terms).
If any Implied Terms cannot be excluded but our liability for a breach of such terms can be limited, we limit our liability to you to (at our sole election) re-supplying the relevant part of the ChasingLife website, or the cost of re-supply.
Your liability to us:
You indemnify us, our related bodies corporate, and each of our directors, officers, employees and other representatives, from any loss, damage, costs or expenses (including legal expenses on a full indemnity basis) we or they suffer or incur as a result of any breach of these Terms by you or your representatives, including any use of the ChasingLife website which is not in accordance with these Terms.
Our liability to you:
We do not accept liability for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of using the ChasingLife website or any part of it, except to the extent that we are required by law to do so, such as State or Territory fair trading legislation and the Australian Consumer Law.
In particular, except to the extent required by law, we do not accept, and specifically exclude, liability for any business losses, or losses of data or profits, or any other direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage, which you may suffer in connection with our supply, non-supply or defective supply of the ChasingLife website (or any part of it) or in connection with your use of ChasingLife website (or any part of it).
General:
If any of the Terms are invalid, unenforceable or illegal in a particular jurisdiction, that term will be struck out for that jurisdiction only and the remaining terms will remain in full force.
The Terms are legally binding and are governed by Australian law. The Australian courts (and the courts of appeal from them) have non-exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising under or in connection with the Terms.
